Her 10-month marriage to Transformers actor Josh Duhamel is under scrutiny after an Atlanta stripper said she had a fling with Duhamel. The scandal puts Fergie and Duhamel at Nos. 1 and 2 on USA TODAY's Celebrity Heat Index, which measures media exposure.

The couple's camps characterized the claims as ridiculous. On Tuesday, Fergie, 34, and Duhamel, 36, were in Atlanta, where he is filming the comedy Life as We Know It. They dined at Chops. "We offered them a discreet table (but) she said, 'I want to sit out where the action is,' " restaurant manager Kevin Brown told People.com.

Still, magazines out this week focus on the story. "Fergie Betrayed," shouts Us Weekly's cover; "Rocked by Scandal," screams People (except in some parts of the country where Tim McGraw is People's centerpiece).

Others gave the story secondary placement: "Fergie's in Tears," says In Touch; "Fergie and Josh's Marriage Crisis," reads Life & Style. Those reports follow National Enquirer's story last week.

Stripper Nicole Forrester, 34, first talked about the purported sexual encounter to the Enquirer, which required her to take a lie-detector test, and then her lawyer, Romin Alivi, talked to Us Weekly, which reports that she has yet to collect $20,000 for the Enquirer story.
