ATHENS, Ga. (AP) — Andy Landers is signed to remain the Georgia women's basketball coach for three more years, through the 2013-14 season.

Landers has been the Georgia coach since 1979. With Landers, Georgia is one of only four schools in the country to post a winning record in all 28 seasons since women's basketball became an NCAA sport in 1981-82.

Georgia athletic director Damon Evans said Landers' "commitment and dedication" to the program "is outstanding."

Landers said he looks forward "to continuing our quest to win a national championship."

Landers was a 2007 inductee into the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame and a 2009 inductee to the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame.
