Updated 11/18/2009 3:39 PM ET
Stephen Curry electrified college hoops crowds with his NCAA tournament play, making Davidson a full-fledged March Madness Cinderella team. Now in his first NBA season, Curry is catching on with the up-tempo Golden State Warriors and learning the rigors of the pro game.

USA TODAY's Jeff Zillgitt caught up with Curry for some offbeat questions and answers in this 20-second timeout:

Favorite food: Salmon

Memorable childhood gift: "The Macaulay Culkin Home Alone walkie-talkies I got for my birthday when I was 6 or 7."

Best childhood memory: "When I was 10, we finished second in the AAU national (basketball) championship."

Favorite class at Davidson: Sociology 310: Gender, Race and Sports.

Best advice received: "From my mom — finish school."

Fantasy football? "Not anymore. I played my freshman and sophomore year in college but I kept forgetting to set my lineup and finished in last place."

Biggest complaint with his game on  NBA Live 10video game: "In a real game, I would dunk it. But on the video game, it's a crafty layup."

Favorite TV show: Family Guy

Favorite movie: The Count of Monte Cristo

Next movie to see: The Box

Favorite city to visit: Toronto. "I lived there for a year. It's too cold for me. But if you go when the weather is nice, there's a lot of stuff to do. The people are cool. It's beautiful on Lake Ontario. If it was a different climate, I would want to move there. They have some pretty good candy up there, too."
