Heisman watch: Ingram, McCoy, Tebow lead close race

Heading into the Heisman Trophy race's final month — ballots go out Nov. 15 and are due Dec. 7 — expect this race to come down to the final Saturday.

• First team: RB Mark Ingram had 144 rushing yards (106 in the second half) and five catches for 30 yards as Alabama clinched a spot in the Southeastern Conference title game by beating LSU.

Texas QB Colt McCoy passed for 470 yards with two touchdowns against Central Florida.

Florida QB Tim Tebow threw for 208 yards and one score, ran for 27 yards and a TD vs. Vanderbilt.

•Second team: Clemson RB C.J. Spiller ran for a career-high 165 yards rushing and a score and had a 58-yard TD reception, finishing with a school-record 312 all-purpose yards against Florida State.

Houston QB Case Keenum finished with 522 yards on 40-for-60 passing with three TDs, his second game in a row with more than 500 yards.

Boise State QB Kellen Moore threw for 354 yards and three touchdowns with an interception at Louisiana Tech.
