Marlins' first-round pick Chad James agrees to deal

MIAMI (AP) — Left-hander Chad James (FSY) has agreed to terms on a contract with the Florida Marlins that includes a $1.7 million signing bonus, said his agent, Rob Martin.
James passed a physical and will sign the deal Monday in Oklahoma City, Martin said Saturday. James pitched last season at Yukon High School in Oklahoma City and was the 18th overall pick in the June amateur draft.
